Thiruvananthapuram: Key dignitaries from Kerala State Government including Chief Secretary, Govt of Kerala Dr Vishwas Mehta, Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation Mayor Rajendra Arya, Chief Executive Officer, SCTL and others unveiled the brochure of the three-day mega virtual conclave – APAC Smart & Sustainable City Conclave to be held between February 16-18, 2021 recently. Resident Editor & Head – South India, APAC News Network Sudheer Goutham was present on the occasion.
The three-day conclave seeks to explore as well as showcase the culture of innovation and best practices of Smart City Thiruvananthapuram on a virtual platform. The conclave is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and collaborations on smart city and urban development, IT and e-Governance and place the spotlight on the pro-people urban work that is being done in Thiruvananthapuram and rest of the Kerala.
The ‘APAC Smart & Sustainable City Virtual Conclave, Thiruvananthapuram’ will be focusing on key initiatives undertaken by Government of India aligned with the vision of Smart Cities Mission, especially the ICT initiatives, Technology interventions. Innovations in Urban and IT sector and the Best practices in rest of the country. This conclave intends to generate awareness across the government departments on promoting new ideas and initiatives in Smart City domain and their delivery.
