Infinity Learn expanding virtual education across India
Infinity Learn is a coaching institute established in 1986 by Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions in Hyderabad. Today it is an edtech platform offers education digitally in various streams and prepares the students for multiple competitive exams. Today, Infinity Learn is a major digital learning platform offering different modules including online live classes, SelfLearn recorded modules, online mock tests, and 24×7 doubt clearance app.

The app today is the first choice for students in grades 6 to 12 (Ages: 11 to 18) as well as for those aspiring to excel in challenging assessments like IIT, JEE, and NEET. The live online classes from Infinity Learn by top educators promises a personalized and engaging experience that encourages students to interact, resolve their doubts, learn at their own pace, and self-evaluate progress. On last count, it was digitally educating over 300 million learners across India.
Searching for a complete and reliable virtual classroom solution
While these numbers looked great, supporting it technology wise was becoming a challenge while building a new virtual classroom. The challenge got further amplified by the need to reach students in remote corners of the country where the network quality across India was far from uniform. There was an urgent need for an agile real-time video platform that could seamlessly scale with Infinity’s growing business needs and operate uninterrupted, even with low Internet bandwidth.
The virtual classroom solution had to also include intuitive features to facilitate live interactions between the students and the educators and cultivate a rich learning experience, regardless of their location. It was therefore coming crucial to find a complete solution that provided easy customization, reliability in challenging network conditions, and a rich experience for both teachers and students.
Implementing a flexible and scalable virtual classroom
Once Infinity Learn identified their challenges, they looked out for similar solutions available in the market. Finally they zeroed in on Agora’s Flexible Classroom solution that allowed Infinity Learn to quickly build, customize, brand, and scale a full-featured virtual classroom. The low code solution shortened development cycles and was easily integrated with existing education platforms with a single API.
Additionally, the Software Defined Real-Time Network (SD-RTN) algorithms allowed Infinity Learn to offer seamless live voice and video streaming, regardless of local network conditions, from anywhere in the world. Infinity Learn can now also deploy and manage multiple virtual classroom formats from the cloud, whether small classes or sizable interactive lecture halls, all protected by the information security and cloud privacy standards from Agora.
The Flexible Classroom also allowed Infinity Learn to put educators in complete control of class sessions. These included a complete set of whiteboard tools for easy content delivery, recording and playback features for measuring students’ progress, and real-time messaging. Even Ujjwal Singh, President & CEO of Infinity Learn by Sri Chaitanya asserted, “Our educators today have a much better experience with digital teaching aids like the Interactive Whiteboard. The upgrade has enabled our learners to enjoy learning sessions without interruptions.”
Delivering a seamless virtual classroom experience
Infinity Learn’s transition to the Agora Flexible Classroom platform provided a much higher-quality video experience. The seamless audio-visual sessions and host of advanced digital classroom aids made teaching rewarding for educators and a personalized and engaging experience for the students.
Infinity Learn’s virtual classroom can now accommodate over 100 students per class and can be streamed seamlessly in areas with poor network connectivity. The recorded 99.5% call success rate under all local network conditions and class occupancy figures shows the impact of the solution’sglobal network quality.
In the first year since implementing Agora Flexible Classroom, Infinity Learn registered 300% growth in the usage of the Interactive Whiteboard across sessions. This increase in usage shows how the whiteboard features have boosted interaction between students and teachers while keeping students engaged.
