IAS Rehana Batul Takes Addl Charge as Labour Commissioner; 8 JKAS officer reshuffled

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government announced the transfer and postings of key officers. The reshuffling includes the following changes:

• IAS Rehana Batul (AGMUT:2010) has been assigned the additional charge of Labour Commissioner, J&K. This responsibility is in addition to her existing duties as Secretary to the Government, Labour and Employment Department, with an additional charge of Secretary to the Government, Public Grievances.
• JKAS Abdul Rashid War appointed as Director, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Kashmir.
• JKAS Mohammad Ashraf, JKAS transferred as Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar.
• JKAS Mohammad Rafeeq Bhat posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Bandipore.
• JKAS Noor-ud-din Bhat appointed Deputy Director, Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir.
• JKAS Shakeel Hussain to serve as Deputy Director (Administration) in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir.
• JKAS Om Parkash posted as Deputy District Election Officer, Doda.
• JKAS Harvinder Singh appointed Deputy District Election Officer, Samba, filling an available vacancy.
• JKAS Reyaz Ahmad Sofi is awaiting further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.
