New Delhi: Nvidia has completed its acquisition of Run:ai, an Israeli startup known for its AI software workload management solutions. Through this acquisition, Nvidia will be able to optimise AI hardware infrastructure for its customers. It is estimated that Nvidia may have invested around $700 million in the acquisition.
Nvidia will keep Run:ai’s products unchanged and invest in their future developments. This fits into Nvidia’s strategy, especially within Nvidia DGX Cloud, a platform made with top cloud providers to offer advanced services for generative AI.
Also, the Nvidia-Run:ai partnership guarantees ongoing support for diverse third-party solutions, providing customers with a lot of options. This collaboration lets Nvidia clientele smoothly use GPU solutions across different environments.
Run:ai’s key service lies in its open platform built on Kubernetes. It specialises in managing and organising different types of workloads, such as generative AI, recommender systems, and search engines.
