Mumbai: The last-mile delivery startup Borzo has promoted Alina Kisina to CEO in May 2024 from her prior position as Global VP Sales. Alina Kisina will be accountable for overseeing the business in India, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, and Indonesia.
As the Global VP of Sales at Borzo, Alina Kisina made a substantial contribution to the organization’s last-mile delivery service. At her new role, Alina Kisina reports to Mike Alexandrovski, Founder and CoB. She has over two decades of experience in logistics and e-commerce, producing positive growth in various markets.
Borzo (formerly WeFast), has announced that it is relocating its headquarters from Amsterdam to Mumbai because India accounts for 50% of its income and is its largest market. Borzo said that their global operations, especially in Asia, will expand and operate more efficiently in the continent’s emerging economies by focusing on India. The firm plans to take advantage of opportunities in India on a bigger scale by making Mumbai its central hub and leveraging its capabilities. At present, Borzo operates in 22 Indian cities and is expanding in each.
