Ahmedabad: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the appointment of Saurabh Shah as the company’s chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Phuntsok Wangyal. He currently holds the position of Deputy CFO at Adani Enterprises Limited and will assume his new role starting October 1, 2024.
Shah brings over two decades of experience in financial management, including expertise in financial accounting, reporting, planning, budgeting, internal controls, liquidity management, and investor relations within the Adani portfolio.
Adani Green Energy Limited is a renewable energy company that is primarily involved in developing, building, and operating solar, wind, and hybrid power plants in India. It is part of the Adani Group, an Indian conglomerate, and is one of the largest renewable energy companies in India. The company has a portfolio of 54 operational projects including the projects such as the world’s largest wind-solar hybrid power cluster in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and Kamuthi Solar Power Project, one of the world’s largest solar photovoltaic plants.
