Chandigarh: Chitkara University has forged a partnership with HDFC Bank to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The collaboration will focus on providing students with vital skills and knowledge relevant to excel in the current dynamic global marketplace. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed at an event organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED) at Chitkara University.
The key objectives of the partnership are:
- to create an environment where startups can grow, innovate, and deal with real-world challenges.
- to deepen industry-academia engagement by promoting interactions between the university’s students and industry professionals.
- to co-develop specialized programs that are in line with the current industry needs.
- to support startup growth by providing resources and guidance for developing and scaling new ventures
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor of Chitkara University emphasized the significance of this partnership in enhancing academia-industry collaboration. She said that the joint effort by the university and HDFC Bank will help promote innovation and provide the students with the tools they need to thrive in the ever-changing global scenario.
