Bengaluru: Trellix, a cybersecurity firm specializing in extended detection and response (XDR) solutions, has announced the appointment of Ganesh Iyer as Managing Director for India and the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. Iyer, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, will focus on expanding Trellix’s business operations and driving sales across the region.
Iyer’s expertise lies in scaling sales and transforming operations, and he has held leadership positions at firms like Nutanix, Microsoft, and VMware. At Trellix, he will lead strategic initiatives, focusing on addressing growing cybersecurity challenges across cloud, networks, and endpoints.
Prior to joining Trellix, Iyer spent over six years growing Nutanix’s business in India, particularly in the government sector. His extensive experience will be crucial as Trellix navigates an evolving threat landscape in India and neighboring countries.
