Jaipur: NLC India Ltd. (NLCIL) has partnered with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL) to set up two new power projects in Rajasthan. One project will focus on renewable energy, while the other will develop a lignite-based thermal power plant.
NLCIL will hold a 74% stake in both projects, with RRVUNL holding 26%. The agreement was signed with key officials, including Rajasthan’s Additional Chief Secretary for Energy, Shri Alok, IAS, and NLCIL’s Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli.
These projects aim to boost Rajasthan’s energy production with a mix of renewable and thermal power, supporting India’s push for energy security and sustainable growth.
