Mumbai: The Mahayuti government, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, officially allocated portfolios to its ministers on Saturday, charting a governance roadmap for Maharashtra. Fadnavis retained critical ministries, including Home and Law, while Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar were entrusted with Urban Development & Housing and Finance & Planning, respectively.

The portfolio allocation reflects the government’s commitment to streamlining administration and addressing key developmental challenges.

Key Portfolios: Fadnavis, Shinde, and Pawar

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis retained the Home, Law and Judiciary, General Administration, Information and Publicity, and Energy ministries, signaling his focus on maintaining law and order, along with administrative efficiency.

Deputy CM Eknath Shinde was assigned Urban Development and Housing, along with Public Works, positioning him to oversee critical infrastructure projects and urban planning. Meanwhile, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar retained Finance and Planning, as well as State Excise, ensuring continuity in Maharashtra’s financial strategy.
