New Delhi: India now has access to an AI-powered ambulance network designed to improve emergency medical response. ZENZO Ambulance Service recently launched its nationwide network, covering over 450 cities and towns, aimed at reducing response times and enhancing accessibility to emergency transportation.
Centralised Emergency Access
The network operates under a toll-free number, 1800 102 1298, and through the ZENZO Customer app, which is available on iOS and Android platforms. This initiative aligns with the “One Nation” concept, offering uniform pricing and services across the country.
Key Features
The network includes over 25,000 ambulances providing Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Premium ICU services. ZENZO aims for a response time of under 15 minutes through its 24/7 control room.
The service integrates GPS tracking and live ambulance monitoring. An AI-powered backend ensures efficiency in routing and operations, and ambulance owners can access performance data through a dedicated app.
Historical Perspective and Leadership Vision
Founded in 2002 as ZHL/1298, ZENZO has a long history in emergency medical services, including responding to the 2005 Mumbai floods and the 26/11 terror attacks. Co-founder and CEO Sweta Mangal emphasized the importance of reliable emergency transport, stating that the network reflects their long-term commitment to accessible healthcare.
Chief Operating Officer Praveen Menezes highlighted the network’s focus on operational readiness with skilled personnel and advanced technology, ensuring reliability during emergencies.
