Raipur:Â The Chhattisgarh Government has assigned new roles to six Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers under an ongoing bureaucratic reshuffle. According to the transfer orders issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), IAS Kundan Kumar (2014 batch) has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner of the Housing Board. In addition, he will hold the charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Raipur Development Authority. Before this appointment, Kumar served as the Director of Urban Administration and Development and also discharged the additional duty of Commissioner, Housing Board.
Other officers assigned new roles include:
IAS Subrat Sahu has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Cooperative Department. He is presently posted as Additional Chief Secretary of the Religious Justice and Dharmasva Department and also holds the additional charge of Director General in the Chhattisgarh Administrative Academy.
IAS Jay Prakash Maurya has been given the additional responsibility of Managing Director, Handicrafts Development Board. He is currently the Special Secretary in the Higher Education Department.
IAS Remigius Ekka, presently Director of Veterinary Services, has been given the additional charge of Director, Urban Administration and Development.
IAS Rajat Bansal, presently serving as the Commissioner of MGNREGA, has been assigned additional responsibilities as Special Secretary of the Good Governance and Convergence Department.
IAS Yashwant Kumar has been relieved of his additional charge as Managing Director of the Handicrafts Development Board.
