Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has transferred several senior IAS officers, with significant changes in key departments. Senior IAS Ram Prakash Sisodia (1991 batch), currently the Special Chief Secretary to Government (Land, Registration and Stamps), Revenue department, has been appointed as the Special Chief Secretary to Government, Handloom and Textiles, Industries and Commerce (I&C) Department.
As part of the reshuffle by the state government, IAS Ram Prakash Sisodia has also been relieved of his additional charge as Director General of the Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development Institute (APHRDI).
Taking over Sisodia’s earlier role, IAS G Jaya Lakshmi (1995 batch), the current Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, has been assigned the full additional charge of Special Chief Secretary (Land, Registration and Stamps), Revenue Department.
Apart from this, several officers who were awaiting posting have also been assigned new roles:
- IAS Mutyalaraju Revu has been appointed as Commissioner, State Institute of Rural Development, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, relieving IAS B. Mohammed Diwan Mydeen from full additional charge.
- IAS K Madhavi Latha has been posted as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), AP Rythu Bazar, relieving IAS M. Vijaya Suneetha from additional charge.
- IAS M Gauthami has taken charge as Secretary of AP Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institution Society (Gurukulam).
- IAS Kothamasu Dinesh Kumar has become the Director of Ayush, relieving IAS Dr. Manjula D. Hosmani from full additional charge.
- IAS Dr K. Neelakanta Reddy has been placed at the disposal of the Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department to take up the post of Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS), relieving IAS Dr. A. Siri from full additional charge.
These strategic changes are seen as efforts to streamline governance and enhance administrative efficiency across departments.
