Bihar Govt Transfers Twelve IAS & Six IPS Officers; IAS Anupama Singh Made Joint Secretary, Health Dept

Patna: In a major administrative reshuffle aimed at fast-tracking development projects and strengthening governance, the Bihar government transferred 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including IAS Anupama Singh and six Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), IAS Anupama Singh (2020 batch), previously serving as the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC)-cum-CEO of Bhojpur Ara, has been transferred and posted as the Joint Secretary in the Health Department.

Other notable IAS transfers include:

IAS Dr. Preeti (2019 batch) – Appointed DDC-cum-CEO, Jehanabad District Council. She earlier served as the Commissioner, Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation.
IAS Gunjan Singh (2020 batch) – Appointed DDC-cum-CEO, Bhojpur Ara.
IAS Shubham Kumar (2021 batch) – Appointed Municipal Commissioner, Bhagalpur.
IAS Shailaja Pandey (2021 batch) – Appointed DDC-cum-CEO, Samastipur District Council.
IAS Shivakshi Dixit (2021 batch) – Appointed Municipal Commissioner, Munger.
IAS Surya Pratap Singh (2021 batch) – Appointed DDC-cum-CEO, Bhabua Kaimur.

IPS Rakesh Kumar Sinha (2012 batch) – Previously, SP, Lokayukta Office, has been appointed SP, Vigilance Investigation Bureau.
IPS Pankaj Kumar (2013 batch) – Appointed SP, Economic Offences Unit, Patna. He previously served as SP, Crime Records Bureau.
IPS Anant Kumar Rai (2016 batch) – Appointed Assistant Inspector General (Traffic).
IPS Manish Kumar Sinha (IPS 2018) has been reassigned. Details are awaited.
