Chandigarh: The Haryana government has transferred 12 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, IAS Ayush Sinha and one Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer as part of a bureaucratic reshuffle aimed at reorganising departmental responsibilities.
Key Changes in Top Administrative Roles
The reshuffle, ordered by the Nayab Singh Saini-led administration, took immediate effect. Among the significant appointments:
IAS T L Satyaprakash, a 2002-batch officer currently serving as Commissioner and Secretary, Mines and Geology Department, and CEO of Drone Imaging and Information Systems of Haryana Limited, has been given additional charge as Commissioner and Secretary, Transport Department.
IAS C G Rajini Kaanthan (2004 batch) has been assigned multiple key responsibilities, including Commissioner and Secretary, Human Resources Department, Secretary, General Administration, Finance Department, and Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations.
IAS Shekhar Vidyarthi will now take over as Commissioner and Secretary, Archives Department, and Director General, Fire Services.
Changes in Urban and Education Administration
In urban governance, IAS Ayush Sinha has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, Manesar, while IAS Sachin Gupta will serve as Administrator of HSVP, Panchkula, along with his role as Additional Director, Urban Estate, Panchkula.
Additionally, IFS S Narayanan has been posted as Director General and Secretary, Higher Education Department, reflecting the government’s ongoing focus on realigning the education sector leadership. IAS Amna Tasneem has been appointed as Director, Foreign Cooperation Department.
Other Notable Transfers include IAS Rahul Hooda taking charge as Special Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
