Jaipur: Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Water & Effluent Treatment (WET) business vertical has secured significant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) orders from the Public Health Engineering Department of Rajasthan, strengthening its presence in the water infrastructure segment.
The major order is part of the Rajasthan Rural Water Supply and Fluorosis Mitigation Project – Phase II, Package-1. This includes the supply and installation of 5,251 km of transmission and distribution pipelines, 38 ground-level reservoirs (40 ML total capacity), 132 overhead service reservoirs (25 ML), and 20 pump houses.
The project aims to meet the water supply needs of 285 villages and the towns of Surajgarh and Udaipurwati in the Jhunjhunu district.
Additionally, L&T has won another project for the strengthening and rehabilitation of the water supply system in the Kekri-Sarwar sector of Ajmer district, involving 43 km of transmission pipelines.
Both projects include associated electromechanical, instrumentation, automation, and SCADA works, along with a one-year defects liability period and ten years of operations and maintenance.
Notably, L&T has already delivered 24 similar projects across Rajasthan, highlighting its deep experience and trusted execution capabilities in the region.
