Bhopal: In a major boost to electronics and semiconductor investments in Bhopal, Kens Electronics Manufacturing Private Limited (KEMPL), a subsidiary of Kens Technology India Limited (KTIL), is setting up a high-tech electronics manufacturing facility at the Badwai IT Park in Bhopal.
Spanning nearly 5 acres, the upcoming facility will see an investment of Rs 352 crore and is projected to create over 1,000 jobs for skilled youth. Production at the facility is expected to commence in 2026.
Aligned with the State’s Semiconductor Policy
The initiative aligns with the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Policy-2025, which is part of the state’s broader industrial strategy to attract domestic and international players in the electronics sector. The state’s focus on infrastructure development and workforce training continues to make it an appealing destination for high-tech industries.
Public-Private Collaboration
This project is being developed under the Collaborative Centre for Innovation and Policy (CCIP) initiative, highlighting effective collaboration between KEMPL and the Madhya Pradesh Science and Technology Department.
