Raipur: As part of an administrative reshuffle in the state, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred eight probationary Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Accordingly, IPS Sumit Kumar (2021 batch) has been transferred from Bilaspur and appointed City Superintendent of Police (SP), Jagdalpur, Bastar.
The list of other transfers includes
- IPS Ishu Agrawal (2022 batch) has been transferred from Rajnandgaon and posted as City SP, Aazad Chowk, Raipur.
- IPS Mayank Mishra (2022 batch) has been transferred from Sarguja and posted as City SP, Raigarh.
- IPS Harshit Mehar (2022 batch) has been transferred from Raigarh and posted as City SP, Durg.
- IPS Rahul Bansal (2022 batch) has been transferred from Durg and posted as City SP, Sarguja.
- IPS Vaishali Jain (2022 batch) has been transferred from the Police Headquarters in Raipur and posted as City SP, Rajnandgaon.
- IPS Abhishek Kumar Chaturvedi (2023 batch) has been transferred from Raipur and posted as City SP, Dhamtari.
- IPS Gagan Kumar (2023 batch) has been transferred from Bastar and posted as City SP, Bilaspur.
