Investors should also maintain copies of all documents, receipts and communications related to the investments.
No one should sign any form without thoroughly reading and comprehending.
Investors should desist from issuing blank cheques and be suspicious about offers that promise quick approval, special offers or guaranteed returns.
Kolkata Police issued those advisory in the wake of a major financial scam in the Regent Estate Post Office leading to losses in crores.
