Agartala: A Cyber Security Club has been launched at PM Shri Sabroom Girls’ Higher Secondary School in Sabroom town of South Tripura.
The club aims to help students stay safe in the digital world. The inaugural program was conducted with active participation from both students and teachers.
With online safety becoming more important today, the school aims to help students become aware and responsible users of technology. To spark their interest, the school held slogan writing and poster-making competitions. The themes included online fraud, protecting personal information, and the safe use of social media. The best works from the students will be displayed on the school notice board soon.
A major attraction of the event was an expert talk show on cybersecurity. Specialists shared useful tips on digital safety, strong passwords, spotting phishing messages, and avoiding suspicious links. They reminded students to report anything unusual online to parents, teachers, or even the cyber cell without hesitation.
Headmaster Ranjan Debnath said the club will run regular programs to spread cyber awareness among the students. He said the initiative will help the girls grow up with the knowledge and confidence to handle the digital world in a safe and smart way.
