Bhopal: As part of a major administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government has transferred several IAS officers. IAS Shivshekhar Shukla (1994 batch), previously serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the culture and tourism department, has been appointed as ACS in the home department.
Shukla has also been entrusted with additional charges in culture and religious trusts and endowments.
The list of other transfers includes
IAS Umakant Umrao (1996 batch) has been posted as Principal Secretary in the animal husbandry and dairy department.
IAS Shobhit Jain (2000 batch), previously Member Secretary of the state food commission, has taken charge as Principal Secretary in the AYUSH department.
IAS M. Selvendran (2002 batch), Principal Secretary in general administration, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary in science and technology, relieving IAS Sanjay Dubey (1993 batch) of that role upon assuming duties.
IAS John Kingsly AR (2004 batch), previously Secretary in the Narmada Valley Development and water resources departments, has been assigned the role of Secretary in horticulture and food processing, retaining his additional roles in Narmada Valley and water resources.
IAS Shriman Shukla (2007 batch) has been shifted from Commissioner of tribal development to Secretary in planning, economic and statistics, with additional charges as Member Secretary of the state food commission and Registrar of the consumer disputes redressal commission.
IAS Swatantra Kumar Singh (2007 batch), formerly Director of Bhopal gas tragedy relief and rehabilitation, has become Secretary in the fisherman welfare and fisheries development.
IAS Vishesh Garhpale (2008 batch) will continue to serve as secretary in the energy department with an additional role as the managing director of the power management and east zone power distribution companies.
IAS Alok Kumar Singh (2008 batch) has been appointed Secretary to the Chief Minister, adding the mineral resources department.
IAS Dhanraju S (2009 batch) has transitioned from Commercial Tax Commissioner to Health Services Commissioner.
IAS Ilayaraja T (2009 batch), Secretary to the Chief Minister and Managing Director of the tourism development corporation, has been entrusted with additional charges in tourism and related bodies.
IAS Dilip Kumar Yadav is set to take over the corporation’s managing director role, relieving Ilayaraja T accordingly.
IAS Anay Dwivedi (2010 batch) has taken over as Commercial Tax Commissioner in Indore, while IAS Tarun Rathi, from the same batch, becomes Commissioner of Tribal Development.
IAS Anurag Chaudhary (2010 batch) has been appointed Managing Director of the fisheries federation, with additional Secretary roles in fisherman welfare and backward classes and minorities welfare.
IAS Neha Maravya Singh (2011 batch) has been shifted to Additional Secretary in the tribal affairs.
IAS Gautam Singh (2011 batch) has become the Commissioner of the Housing and Infrastructure Development Board.
IAS Virendra Kumar (2011 batch) has been posted as Additional Commissioner (revenue) in the Gwalior division.
IAS Nidhi Nivedita (2012 batch) will retain her roles as Commissioner of Women and Child Development and related missions.
IAS Kumar Purushottam (2012 batch), Managing Director of the agricultural marketing board, has been given additional charge of the state cooperative marketing union.
IAS Dr. Fating Rahul Haridas (2012 batch) has been appointed as Director of Health Services and the State AIDS Control Society.
IAS Rajesh Kumar Ogare (2012 batch) has become Additional Secretary in commercial tax department.
IAS Rishi Garg (2013 batch) has been appointed Managing Director of the central zone power distribution company, retaining his Planning Commission roles.
IAS Manisha Saintiya (2013 batch) has taken charge as Additional Secretary in the home department.
IAS Dilip Kumar Yadav (2014 batch) has become the Managing Director of the state tourism development corporation.
IAS Buddhesh Kumar Vaidya (2014 batch) has been appointed Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education.
IAS Dilip Kumar Kapse (2014 batch) has been posted as Deputy Secretary in farmer welfare and Agriculture Development.
IAS Malika Nigam Nagar (2016 batch) has been shifted to Deputy Secretary in the revenue department.
IAS Disha Pranay Nagvanshi (2016 batch) has become Additional Mission Director of the National Health Mission.
IAS Vandana Sharma (2018 batch) has been posted as Secretary of the State Information Commission.
