Panchkula, Apr 22 (APAC Media): Â IAS Preeti Yadav has been appointed as General Manager (Region) at the Food Corporation of India, Regional Office, Panchkula, on deputation basis.
Preeti Yadav is an officer of the 2014 batch belonging to the Punjab cadre. Prior to this appointment, she was serving as Managing Director of MARKFED.
The appointment has been cleared by the Competent Authority and has been made under the Department of Food and Public Distribution as part of the Central Staffing Scheme. The post is at the Deputy Secretary/Director level.
As per the official notification, Yadav will serve in the role for a period of three years with effect from August 21, 2026, or from the date of assuming charge, whichever is later, or until further orders.
