India has embarked upon a journey to transform skill development sector in the country. Aim is to create skilled workforce and to bridge the gap between education & industry needs. With the advancements of new age technologies in the era of Industry 4.0, there is an ardent need to ensure India is ready with the skilled workforce which is employable. Through its flagship ‘Skill India’ program and various initiatives, the Government of India is leaving no stone unturned to ensure reducing the gap of industry-academia collaboration.
But there are challenges. And to address the challenges ‘APAC News Network’ is organizing ‘National Skill Conclave’ in Visakhapatnam on 9th February 2024 in association with the "Department of Skills Development & Training, Government of Andhra Pradesh" & "Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation " as the ‘Host Partners.’
