Mumbai: Aurionpro Solutions has announced a significant contract win with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (DMRC) to provide Automated Fare Collection (AFC) technology and equipment. This project marks Aurionpro’s second major metro engagement in India, following its success with the Chennai Metro.

The contract involves the delivery of AFC systems, including automated gates, validators, and card readers, for Delhi Metro’s operational networks spanning Phases I, II, and III. These solutions will be manufactured entirely in India at Aurionpro’s facility in Ghaziabad, aligning with the government’s “Make in India” initiative. This collaboration underscores Aurionpro’s position as a leading technology partner in the smart transit domain and highlights its dedication to developing advanced, locally manufactured solutions for urban transit systems.

Sanjay Bali, President & Global Head – Tech Innovation Group at Aurionpro Solutions, emphasized the significance of the partnership, noting that it enhances the company’s growing prominence in the Indian smart transit sector. He highlighted the robust and indigenously developed products, including gates, validators, and card readers, which are tailored to meet the high standards of Delhi Metro. Bali also remarked that this project, following Aurionpro’s success with the Chennai Metro, represents another milestone in the company’s expanding footprint in both Indian and global transit markets.
