Kolkata: The Yatri Sathi app run by the State Transport Department of West Bengal Government has launched the CleanCabPromise initiative focused on enhancing the travel experience of passengers.

The initiative was launched by Babul Supriyo, Minister of Information Technology and Electronics of West Bengal, on Wednesday. It has begun at the Kolkata airport and Howrah railway station, the two major transportation hubs in the state.

The initiative focuses on results beyond merely a cleanliness drive. Sukesh Kumar Jain, IGP (Traffic) believes that the CleanCabPromise initiative could instill a habit of hygiene and responsibility between both drivers and passengers.

“This initiative sets a new benchmark for professionalism and comfort, while contributing to a cleaner, more welcoming city for all,” hoped West Bengal Minister, Supriyo.
