Patna: The Bihar government, on 11 December, issued another round of IAS transfers across key departments.
A notification from the General Administration Department confirmed the appointment of Saran Division Commissioner Rajiv Roshan as Secretary of the newly formed Higher Education Department.
Senior IAS officer Nilesh Ramchandra Devre has been moved from the Cabinet Secretariat Department to the Civil Aviation Department as Special Secretary, while retaining his additional charge as Managing Director of the Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation.
Darbhanga Commissioner Kaushal Kishore has been reassigned as Secretary of the Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department.
Avnish Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Munger Division, has been given additional charge of Bhagalpur Division.
Himanshu Kumar Rai, earlier Bhagalpur Commissioner, will now lead the Darbhanga Division while also holding additional charge of Tirhut and Saran divisions.
Ajay Yadav has been relieved of all Education Department responsibilities. The reshuffle follows the transfer of several district magistrates earlier this week.
