The Vision of the Ministry of Jal Shakti:

Population growth and economic development are putting immense pressure on water resources, calling for sustainable and efficient water management to meet the present-day need for safe, reliable, and affordable water, which minimises adverse effects on the environment, whilst enabling future generations to meet their requirements.

In India, the Ministry of Jal Shakti has initiated a sustainable and efficient water management system to meet the present-day & future need for safe, reliable, and affordable water. With a vision to make the most of our energy and resources.

To sustain this momentum, Schneider Electric, along with APAC News Network, has initiated the Green Yodha Yatra which we have chosen to create a pan-India presence by deciding to directly reach out to water and wastewater organizations region-wise, starting with your region in Assam and across North East.

Empowering the Mission of Sustainable Transformation

To empower WWW facilities to become Green Yodhas, we are conducting knowledge sharing sessions for municipal corporations and other government water bodies across the country in collaboration with the Ministry of Jal Shakti. This will enable water processes to transform into sustainable, efficient and equitable industries of the future and also help achieve the government’s sustainability goals and targets through innovative digital solutions.

Sustainable Water Management Conclave, Assam Edition

To demystify sustainability in the water and wastewater sectors, we have come up with a detailed curriculum that will provide hands-on experience of the IoT-enabled technologies and software that will play an instrumental role in achieving the goals of the Ministry of Jal Shakti for efficient and sustainable water management.

Join the Green Yodha Yatra, a pan-India journey for wastewater management and its awareness, on 29th April 2022, 14:30 PM onwards at Hotel Vivanta by Taj, to listen to the policymakers and industry stalwarts share their insights on the urgent need for sustainable and efficient water management to meet the present-day need in Managing Sustainable Water Infrastructure in the North East.
