Mumbai: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Maharashtra government transferred several senior officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). The move aims to enhance efficiency and strengthen law enforcement across various departments, including law and order, cyber security, and economic offences. Notably, 1996-batch IPS officer Nikhil Gupta has been appointed as the Additional Director General (ADG) of Law and Order.
