UP Govt Transfers Eight IAS, Five IPS Officers; IAS Rakesh Kumar Singh Made CEO, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority

Lucknow: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the transfers of eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. As per the official order, IAS Rakesh Kumar Singh has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.

Singh previously served as the secretary to the Chief Minister. In addition to his current role, he has also been given additional charge as the CEO of Noida International Airport.

Other IAS appointments include

IAS Alok Kumar, currently Principal Secretary of Planning and Programme Implementation, has been assigned additional roles as Principal Secretary of Reorganisation Coordination, Language, National Integration, and General Administration, and Director of the Hindi Institute while retaining his current position.
IAS Yogesh Kumar, currently the Special Secretary, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as the Commissioner-in-Charge and Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
IAS Dr. Heera Lal, presently the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, has now been appointed as the Secretary of the Department of National Integration, UP.
IAS Anamika Singh, currently the Secretary of the Women Welfare and Child Development and Nutrition Department, has been posted as the CEO of the UP Clean Air Management Project Authority and Secretary of the Department of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, UP.
IAS Bhawani Singh Khangaraut, who has been awaiting posting, has been appointed the Special Secretary, Revenue Department, UP.
IAS Sanya Chabra, Managing Director of the UP State Tourism Development Corporation, has been made Chief Development Officer of Hardoi.
IAS Isha Priya, currently the Special Secretary and Director, Tourism Department, has been given additional charge as the Managing Director of the UP State Tourism Development Corporation.

The list of notable IPS transfers includes

IPS SB Shiradkar (1993 batch), who was heading the Lucknow Zone as DGP/ADGP, has been reappointed Director General of the Police Promotion and Recruitment Board in Lucknow.
IPS Sujeet Pandey (1994 batch) has been appointed as the new ADGP of the Lucknow Zone.
IPS RK Swarnkar (1996 batch), currently posted as ADGP at the APTC in Sitapur, has been shifted to take charge of the PAC Headquarters, IPS succeeding Sujeet Pandey.
IPS Ashish Tiwari (2012 batch), who was serving as SP, CID in Lucknow, has now been appointed as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Saharanpur. He replaces IPS Rohit Singh Sajwan (2013 batch), who has been relieved from his post and attached to the office of the Director General of Police.
