Dehradun: As part of its ongoing bureaucratic overhaul, the Uttarakhand government has announced the reshuffle of four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. According to the official notification, IAS Apoorva Pandey (2018 batch) has been appointed as the Director of Swajal.
In this role, IAS Pandey has been tasked with water and sanitation projects, adding to her existing duty as the Additional Secretary of Drinking Water.Â
Other appointments include
- IAS Nitika Khandelwal (2015 batch), currently the District Magistrate of Garhwal, has been given the additional responsibility of overseeing the Tehri Development Authority.
- IAS Gaurav Kumar (2017 batch) has been given the additional charge of Managing Director of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA). He is currently serving as the Additional Secretary of the Urban Development Department.Â
- IAS Vishal Mishra (2018 batch), currently the Managing Director of Garhwal Mandal Development Corporation, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Project Director, Namami Gange, relieving IAS Ranveer Singh Chauhan (2009 batch) of the post.
The reshuffle aims to enhance administration in the state by aligning experienced officers with critical development roles.
