The company has warned of limited walk-in stock in several countries, citing strong demand following the start of pre-orders last week. However, India is among the markets where Apple will not offer walk-in purchases on launch day.
iPhone Duo Availability In India
Customers in India, France, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and the UAE must book a pickup slot through Apple’s online store. The booking page currently asks customers to check back on Saturday, October 24, leaving launch-day pickup arrangements unclear.
Apple has also limited purchases to two iPhone Duo units per customer. The restrictions may help manage store crowds and discourage resellers from buying devices in bulk.
