Dehradun: In a key bureaucratic reshuffle in Uttarakhand, 2012-batch IAS Ashish Chauhan has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation and Development Authority (UCADA) and Director of the Sports Department.Â
Known for his proactive governance and people-centric administration, IAS Chauhan brings a track record of impactful leadership from his previous roles as district magistrate in key districts, including Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh and Pauri.
His tenure in these regions has earned him wide public appreciation and a reputation for innovative governance. While serving as DM of Pauri, he was noted for his late-night visits to remote villages, directly addressing public grievances.
With significant investments being made in aviation and sports infrastructure in Uttarakhand, IAS Chauhan’s leadership in these two strategic departments is expected to drive further development and public trust.
