Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi on Thursday and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 1,500 crore. He will also inaugurate the International Cooperation and Convention Centre – Rudrakash, which has been constructed with Japanese assistance.
During addressing a public gathering, he has said the handling of the second wave of Covid by the Yogi Adityanath government as ‘unparalleled’ and said that the state had stood up and battled the pandemic efficiently.
He added, today UP is a state that does the maximum number of testings across the country. It is a state that does maximum number of vaccinations.
