New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) has signed an agreement with Apollo Micro Systems Ltd. (AMS) to jointly develop and supply advanced defence systems. Strengthening Manufacturing and Modernization Efforts
GRSE and AMS will collaborate on upgrading existing defence systems while improving manufacturing infrastructure for key components and sub-assemblies. This initiative is part of the government’s ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ vision, which promotes self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
MoU Signing and Leadership Presence
GRSE’s Director (Shipbuilding), Cdr. Shantanu Bose (Retd.), and AMS’s Managing Director, Karunakar Reddy Baddam, signed the agreement in the presence of GRSE’s Chairman & Managing Director, Cmde PR Hari (Retd.), and Director (Personnel), DIG Subrato Ghosh (Retd.), along with senior officials from both organizations.
Enhancing India’s Defence Self-Reliance
With this collaboration, both companies aim to contribute to India’s growing defence needs while positioning themselves in domestic and international markets. The agreement aligns with the broader push for indigenous manufacturing and technological advancements in the defence sector.
