Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh has launched a pilot project for an online water bill payment system in the Itanagar Capital Region.
The initiative is aimed at enhancing citizen convenience and streamlining public service delivery and bringing transparency.
The pilot project is being implemented under the Public Health Engineering & Water Supply Department.
Though starting with Itanagar, this project is part of a larger vision to bring digital systems for water connections, billings and grievance redressal to every District Headquarters in Arunachal Pradesh.
The idea is to provide hassle-free public services to both citizens in the hills of Tawang or the plains of Namsai. Payment of water bills will soon become convenient for all of them.
