West Bengal Announces 16 Services Under ‘Amader Para, Amader Samadhan’ in 27,000 Camps

Kolkata: The West Bengal government’s “Amader Para, Amader Samadhan” project is set to begin today and will continue until 3 November.

Aimed at taking administration to the local booth level, this program by the state government of West Bengal will offer 16 services.

These services include:

Drainage

• Covered drains
• Soak pits
• Building culverts

Water Supply

• Tubewells
• Water pipe work
• Supply of drinking water
• Water tank

Street Lights

• LED lights
• Solar lights

Toilets

• Toilets in markets

ICDS Centre Development

• Roof maintenance
• Water supply
• Play grounds
• Boundary walls
• Ensuring security

Primary Schools

• Beautification of school walls
• Renovation of toilets
• Drinking water supply
• Benches
• Roof

Ponds

• Excavating ponds
• Concretize banks

Waste

• Create a proper dumping place
• Garbage disposal

Open space for community

• Benches
• Sheds
• Repair of community sheds

Markets

• Stalls repair
• Drainage
• Arranging lights

Cultural activities

• Small stages
• Flag hoisting opportunities
• Arrange the festival celebration area
• Community centers

Public Transport

• Sheds in bus stops
• Auto/Rickshaw stands
• Footpaths
• Passenger commuting
• Footbridges
• Ambulance

Greening

• Gyms in open areas
• Concretising the tree roots
• Benches in parks

Electric Supply

• General development of electric supply
• Improvement in supply in community halls, schools

• Electric poles repair
• Saving electricity for an adequate supply

The “Amader Para, Amader Samadhan” program will offer more services in addition to those already stated.

There will be 27,000 camps across more than 80,000 booths in the state. Camps will sit on all days except Durga Pujo and government holidays. All work updates will be done online.
