Chandigarh: In a major administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government has transferred 19 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Accordingly, IAS Sudhir Rajpal (1990 batch) has been entrusted with the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Environment, Forests, and Wildlife Department.
Along with this, he will continue in his previous role as the ACS of the Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education department.Â
Other prominent transfers include
- IAS Dr. Raja Sekhar Vundru (1990 batch), ACS, will now also lead the Transport Department, in addition to his current responsibilities.
- IAS G. Anupama (1991 batch), ACS, has been given additional charge of the Haryana Citizen Resources Information Department.
- IAS TL Satyaprakash (2002 batch) will continue to oversee the Mines and Geology Department and has now been assigned the Women and Child Development Department.
- IAS PC Meena (2004 batch) has been appointed as Commissioner and Secretary to the Haryana Human Resources Department.
- IAS Rajiv Rattan (2008 batch) has become the new Commissioner of Rohtak Division.
- IAS Yash Garg (2009 batch) will now serve as Director General (DG) of Industries and Commerce and DG of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), along with his current assignments.
- IAS Dharmender Singh (2012 batch) takes on additional charge as Administrator (HQ), Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran (HSVP).
- IAS Dr. Munish Nagpal, a promotee officer, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Charkhi Dadri.
- IAS Dr. Vivek Bharti, a promotee officer, has been made Deputy Commissioner of Fatehabad.
- IAS Satpal Sharma (2017 batch) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula.Â
