PNB, BSNL Join Hands to Offer Special Salary Accounts for Employees

Mumbai: Punjab National Bank (PNB) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have entered into an agreement to provide exclusive salary accounts for BSNL employees, aiming to enhance financial security and convenience for thousands of telecom sector workers. 

The partnership was formalized at PNB’s Zonal Office in Delhi.

The initiative will deliver a host of customized financial benefits that go beyond the scope of a regular savings account. The scheme offers free insurance coverage, special loan concessions with favorable terms, overdraft facilities for easy credit access, and family banking privileges that extend the benefits to employees’ family members. It also includes customised account numbers, adding a personal touch to the banking experience.

By introducing this tailored scheme, both public sector companies are reinforcing their commitment to employee welfare. The new offering is expected to not only simplify financial management for BSNL staff but also strengthen the longstanding bond between PNB and BSNL.

The agreement was signed by Suresh Kumar Rana, Chief General Manager, PNB, and Prabhu Dayal Chirania, Senior General Manager, Corporate Budget & Banking, BSNL. 

With this collaboration, BSNL employees gain access to enhanced banking solutions designed to meet both personal and family financial needs.
