Patna: In a significant administrative move, the Bihar government has reshuffled several IAS officers across the state. IAS Deepak Kumar Mishra has been given the additional charge as the Mission Director of the Bihar Vikas Mission and Joint Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
Mishra currently serves as the Commissioner of the Biharsharif Municipal Corporation.
Several other IAS officers have also been transferred and posted to new roles. The key changes are as follows:
IAS Sameer Saurabh, Deputy Development Commissioner and Zila Parishad CEO, Patna, has been posted as Managing Director, COMFED, Patna.
IAS Abhishek Palasia, Deputy Development Commissioner and Zila Parishad CEO, Khagaria, has been appointed Town Commissioner, Gaya Municipal Corporation.
IAS Kumar Nishant Vivek, Deputy Development Commissioner and Zila Parishad CEO, Gopalganj, has been transferred as Town Commissioner, Biharsharif Municipal Corporation, Nalanda.
IAS Shubam Kumar, Commissioner, Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation, has been posted as Deputy Development Commissioner and Zila Parishad CEO, Nalanda.
IAS Shivakshi Dikshit, Commissioner, Munger Municipal Corporation, has been posted as Town Commissioner, Bettiah Municipal Corporation, West Champaran.
IAS Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar, Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Nalanda, has been transferred to the same post in Patna.
IAS Surya Pratap Singh, Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Kaimur at Bhabua, has been shifted to Samastipur.
IAS Lakshman Tiwari, Municipal Commissioner, Bettiah Municipal Corporation, has been posted as Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-CEO, Zila Parishad, Saran at Chhapra.
The reshuffle is part of the state’s ongoing administrative realignment to ensure effective service delivery.
