New Delhi, October 14 (APAC Media): The Central government has appointed IAS officer S Jayavardhan as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), New Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS).
The appointment has been approved by the competent authority for a period of four years from the date he assumes charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Jayavardhan is a 2014-batch IAS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre.
His appointment marks his selection for a central government assignment under the Central Staffing Scheme, which facilitates the placement of eligible officers from the All India Services and participating Group A services in various ministries and departments of the Government of India.
