
Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala model for Covid tackling again in news for right reasons. The state has made it mandatory to keep Covid 19 Safety guidelines in place for next 1 year, according to state health department.
Kerala has made this happen through an amendment brought to the Epidemic Diseases Act. Wearing masks or face covers in all public places, maintaining physical distance of six feet and prohibition of spitting in public places are among the regulations to be followed till next year.
The new regulations known as ‘Kerala Epidemic Disease Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Additional Regulations, 2020’, will be in force till July 2021.
The attendance to marriage and funerals to be restricted too. Also traveling to Kerala will be strictly based on furnishing details on the Covid-19 Jagratha platform before making the visit.
