New Delhi: Venkatesapathy S (IAS) has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways. According to an official order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), the Central Government has approved the proposal for the appointment of Venkatesapathy.
According to the order, he has been appointed to the post under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Venkatesapathy is a 2009-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Kerala cadre. Presently, he is posted as Managing Director of Kerala Water Authority. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately with instructions to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways,” the order further reads.
