New Delhi: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has announced that it will offer a free five-day online course from August 19 to 23, to provide students with the fundamentals of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).
A variety of course study materials will be accessible via the IIRS-ISRO e-class platform. The study materials include lecture slides, lecture videos, open-source software and demonstration handouts. Video lectures will be posted on e-class. Professionals who wish to learn more about AI, ML and Deep Learning (DL) particularly in relation to geospatial applications should take this course.
The course is a component of the outreach program of IIRS which strives to promote innovation in the space industry and beyond. There is a limit on the number of seats but the course is free. Early application is advised as seats will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.
