Bengaluru: Berger Paints has selected HPE Aruba Networking’s Edge Connect SD-WAN solution to optimize its wide area network (WAN) connectivity and enhance security across its 160 branches in India, including data centers, disaster recovery sites, and headquarters.
The adoption of the SD-WAN solution will enable Berger Paints to streamline operations, reduce bandwidth costs, and improve application performance. The solution’s centralized control function securely steers traffic across the WAN, directly connecting to trusted SaaS and IaaS providers, thereby enhancing user experience and business productivity. Partha Protim Mondal, CIO of Berger Paints India Ltd., emphasized the impact of the implementation, stating, “By adopting HPE Aruba Networking SD-WAN, we can respond swiftly to business demands, eliminate single points of failure, and ensure continuous application availability, leading to increased productivity and higher ROI.”
The solution also leverages inbuilt WAN optimization features to significantly reduce data transmission over the WAN, leading to faster response times for critical applications like ERP and SharePoint. This is particularly beneficial for remote and low-bandwidth branch locations.
