Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has announced its plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google for the initiative ‘AI for Andhra Pradesh, Powered by Google’. Under the agreement, Google will provide Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications to the Andhra Pradesh government in sectors like agriculture, healthcare, sustainability, skill development, and startup ecosystem.
A video conference was held between the Google and YouTube leadership and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting explored partnerships to advance the state’s technological development including digital infrastructure enhancement, skill development, and leveraging technology for efficient governance.
The government also discussed its plan to set up a YouTube Academy in Amravati in collaboration with local partners to foster AI, content development, skill development, and certification programs.
