New Delhi: Arya Omnitalk, a joint venture between Arvind Ltd. and the JM Baxi Group, has partnered with Airtel Business to implement smart city infrastructure in India. This collaboration was highlighted at the eighth edition of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) in Delhi under the theme “Future in Motion.” The partnership aims to revolutionize urban management by deploying solutions that improve traffic management, enhance public safety, and optimize waste collection through real-time data analytics and automation.
According to Arya Omnitalk, the company’s 85,000 installed GPS devices will reduce fleet fuel consumption by 30% and operational costs by 20%. Key innovations under the partnership include smart surveillance, emergency response mechanisms, and Intelligent Transport Management Systems (ITMS). These technologies are expected to enable cities to manage resources more efficiently, reduce pollution, and ensure quicker response times during emergencies through solutions like Dial 100.
