Lucknow: In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the government of Uttar Pradesh has mandated the transfers of 13 officers of the Indian Police Service.
Among the key changes, IPS Nachiketa Jha (2003 batch), currently the Inspector General of Police (IG) of Meerut, has been transferred to Lucknow and appointed as the new Home Secretary.
The list of other transfers and fresh postings includes:

IPS Dr. N Ravindra (1996 batch) has been transferred to the Anti-Corruption Organization. He previously served as the General Staff Officer (GSO) of the Additional Director General of Police (ADG).

IPS Dr. Sanjeev Gupta (1999 batch), currently the Home Secretary ADG, has been given the additional charge of ADG Establishment. In addition, he will also serve as the GSO of the Director General of Police.

IPS officer RK Bhardwaj (2005 batch) has been transferred from the post of IG Basti and posted as the Inspector General of Police at Bhawan Kalyan.

IPS officer Akash Kulhari (2006 batch), currently the Joint Commissioner of Police for Crime, has been transferred and posted as the IG Public Grievances.

IPS officer Amit Pathak (2007 batch), IG Public Grievance, has been appointed as IG of the Devipatan Zone in Gonda.

IPS officer Amarendra Prasad Singh (2008 batch) has been moved from the position of IG Devipatan to take on the new role of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for Intelligence.

IPS officer Dinesh Kumar P (2009 batch) has been transferred from Ghaziabad and assigned the role of DIG in Basti.

IPS Bablu Kumar (2009 batch), presently the Additional Police Commissioner of Gautam Buddha Nagar, has been now given charge as the Joint Police Commissioner for Crime and Headquarters.

IPS Keshav Kumar Chaudhary (2009 batch) has been transferred and posted to the role of DIG in Jhansi.

IPS officer Sanjeev Tyagi (2010 batch ), currently DIG Intelligence, has been assigned the role of Additional Police Commissioner of Agra.

IPS Kalanidhi Naithani (2010 batch), presently serving as the DIG of Jhansi, will now serve as the DIG of Meerut Zone.

IPS officer Ajay Kumar (2011 batch), the Commander of the 32nd Battalion of the PAC, has been given charge as the Additional Police Commissioner in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
