Surat: GreenLine Mobility Solutions Limited has joined forces with Flipkart, aiming to reduce carbon emissions in supply chains through the adoption of LNG-powered trucks. This partnership aligns with Flipkart’s goal of transitioning to a cleaner and more sustainable logistics model.
The initiative involves GreenLine deploying LNG trucks across Flipkart’s supply chain operations in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Gujarat. These trucks will replace conventional diesel vehicles, significantly cutting greenhouse gas emissions and contributing to improved air quality. The deployment is expected to result in a 28% reduction in carbon emissions compared to traditional diesel trucks, marking a pivotal step towards environmentally friendly logistics.
A statement by GreenLine emphasized the importance of adopting LNG-powered vehicles as a solution for reducing logistics-related emissions. It highlighted that the partnership showcases Flipkart’s commitment to sustainable business practices and accelerates the transition towards greener logistics.

Hemant Badri, SVP & Head of Supply Chain, Customer Experience & eCommerce Business at Flipkart Group, stated that the collaboration with GreenLine is an essential step in achieving the company’s sustainability goals.
