Ahmedabad, May 8 (APAC Media): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi concluded his three-day business outreach tour to Gujarat, securing investment commitments worth Rs 48,330 crore across multiple sectors.
The high-profile investor outreach covered Ahmedabad, Mundra, and Vadodara, where the Odisha delegation engaged with leading industrialists, business associations, and institutional stakeholders. The roadshows generated 71 investment proposals, including eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and 63 investment intents.
According to officials, the proposed investments have the potential to create over 67,838 jobs in Odisha across diverse industries.

Addressing industry leaders at the Odisha Investors’ Meet in Vadodara, Majhi positioned Odisha as the “Gateway to India’s Fastest Growing Trade Corridors” and invited Gujarat-based industries to expand operations in the state.
Majhi highlighted Odisha’s strategic connectivity to East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Indo-Pacific markets through major ports at Paradip, Dhamra, and Gopalpur.
