Noida, Oct 9 (APAC Media): Gold and silver prices rose in domestic and international markets on Friday, supported by a weaker US dollar, lower US Treasury yields and developments related to US-Iran relations.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures rose 0.72 per cent to ₹150,990 per 10 grams, while silver futures gained 1.22 per cent to ₹224,180 per kilogram.
In the international market, spot gold rose 0.9 per cent to $4,169.32 per ounce after touching a two-month low on Wednesday. US gold futures also advanced 0.9 per cent to $4,194.40 per ounce.
According to the retail rates, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹150,460 per 10 grams in Delhi, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹137,922 per 10 grams. Silver was quoted at ₹223,390 per kilogram.

In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹150,720 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹138,160. Silver stood at ₹223,770 per kilogram.
In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was quoted at ₹150,480 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at ₹137,940. Silver prices were reported at ₹223,460 per kilogram.
In Bengaluru, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹150,800 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹138,233. Silver stood at ₹223,930 per kilogram.
Chennai recorded a 24-carat gold price of ₹151,120 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at ₹138,527. Silver was priced at ₹224,410 per kilogram.
Market participants continued to monitor movements in the US dollar, Treasury yields and expectations surrounding the US Federal Reserve’s interest-rate policy. Geopolitical developments, including statements concerning Iran, also remained in focus.
